Global Training Camps Returning to Costa Rica and Nicaragua in 2025!!!
International Surf Services would like to invite you to their upcoming international training camps. These will be elite level surf camps directed towards boys and girls who are intermediate to advanced surfers between the ages of 11-17 years old. If your son or daughter is serious and want to take their surfing to the next level, please join Erik Krammer and the Global Training Camp program for the surfing experience of a lifetime!!!

About Erik
Erik Krammer, ISS Founder and Coach, has had a surfing career and lifestyle for over forty years. Beginning as a competitive surfer for over fifteen years which lead him through the amateur organizations and into the professional events, Erik eventually transformed this passion and experience into a professional judging career soon after graduating from college at UC Santa Barbara. After several surf trips across the globe, Erik was hired in 1998 by the Association of Surfing Professionals (now known as the WSL) to serve as an international judge on the World Championship Tour (WCT) where he worked at the top level of the sport for over eleven years.
In 2008 Erik was ready to move in a new direction with all of his past experiences which would allow him to reach the youth of the sport through the coaching programs of International Surf Services. He immediately began working with all surfing levels through private and group sessions as well as event coaching focusing on technique and the fundamentals of contest surfing from a judge’s perspective. Then in the midst of all this, Erik also reconnected with the International Surfing Association (ISA) in 2013 and began working as the Technical Director and Contest Director in all of their international championship events. This eventually lead to his involvement at an Olympic level where he helped to direct and organize Surfing to make its historic debut as an Olympic Sport in Tokyo 2020 and then followed with directing the 2024 Paris Olympics which was held at the infamous wave of Teahupo’o – Tahiti!!!
By sharing his vast knowledge and experiences as a free surfer, competitive athlete, team manager, world traveler, international judge, contest director, and private coach / trainer, Erik continues to provide incredible opportunities for serious athletes who want to better themselves and take their surfing to the next level!!!
Coach Krammer adds, “Global Training Camps is an amazing program which uses different techniques to improve each athlete’s competitive and free surfing approach in a variety of quality waves. We basically find the best waves and surf all day long, and then use the ongoing coaching with the photos and daily video footage to analyze everyone’s strengths and weaknesses. The bottom line is about HAVING FUN, and most kids when they’re surfing and getting better then they’re always having fun!!!”
